Stapelia gigantean creates starfish-shaped flowers 10 to 16-inches in diameter. The blooms of the succulent, also called the carrion flower, create an odor similar to that of meat. Allow the very top of the potting mix to dry somewhat between waterings. Keep the little crops warm as well as in bright light but not in sunlight. Maintain the seedlings in this way for approximately one year.
Harden the seedlings off before planting them outside by permitting the potting blend to become drier between waterings, or relocating them. Expose them to immediate morning sunlight to get several minutes every morning, progressively raising the coverage time to a couple of hours.
Plant them out doors or in their containers that are permanent in s Oil that is sandy. Position them where they are going to receive night or morning sunlight.
